White dots on back of tank.

So I've noticed a few new white dots on the back of the tank, curious to what they are, they don't seem to move or at least I havnt noticed it , I am assuming snail eggs, I have noticed they are only on the cleared part or on the edge of the algae, where a snail would be. They are also only on this (left side of the back panel) portion of the tank.

The tank is about 4 months old contains 2 Chromis Verdis a mandarin dragonet 10 blue legged hermits, about a dozen Astrea Snails a single nirate Snail, a skunk cleaner shrimp and has been seeded for tisbe and tiger pods. A small 1/3 lb of live rock was used for initial seeding.

I have also pretty much ruled out calcification. Water test as of yesterday:

Nerite snails are well known for laying eggs on tank walls. So much so, that many will not put them into their tanks.

Quite possible, though I can't view them from behind on the glass anywhere yet.I got a few better photos, they are not perfectly round and I havnt noticed any feather dusters.

Yep. Nerite snail eggs. They are kinda egg shaped. A "flipper" scraper will take them off of the glass. Darn things will lay them everywhere though. Not just on the glass: overflow box, Loc-line, bulkheads, etc.

The good thing is they will not hatch in an aquarium.

Actually a bummer lol I used to sell Snails online with good results, and good news about eggs, much better than a malicious hitchhicker. Thank you

I was dumb enough to put them in my tank. Next tank will have none of them..

I'm debating not even transferring the rock and starting over
