While this appears to be ich or flukes, assure it isnt sand as often happens with these blennies.
If ich- treatment in separate container will be warranted.

The dots do look like sand but i just took a turkey baster and blasted him. It didn’t come off.

Turkey baster may not do it as skin slime will hold onto sand. Netting it may or it may fall off itself - IF its sand

Dont give up yet. Tangs can be very sensitive and are harder fish to keep. With that said, there is definitely a learning curve and a vast amount of knowledge required to be very successful with the hobby but beginners can also have a lot of success. Thats the funny thing about the hobby, no two tanks are alike. I believe it all comes with experience and there are definitely tough learning lessons that come with the hobby:grinning-face-with-sweat:. You got this!

And hes dead:crying-face:
Sorry! For me, blennies are always the hardest to lose.

How long ago did you notice the spots? I ask because it looks like ich, but ich usually takes a bit more time to kill (weeks or even months with the spots coming and going in waves). Velvet looks similar, but kills MUCH quicker. Based on your pics, I would have guessed ich (oval dots), but I wouldn't rule velvet out if the deaths occurred quickly.

Do you have any other fish in the tank? If so, are they showing symptoms? Here's a write up on Ich, and here's one on velvet - both have steps for treatment and steps for ridding your tank of the parasites (I just completed a 76 day fallow period myself). Alternatively, @Jay Hemdal may be able to weigh in.

Its basically turned this tank into a QT tank. Its got two clowns and two firefish and small CUC. Nothing is showing symptoms. Im going by LFS today to see what i can get.
