White dots on yellow tang tail

I noticed these two white dots on my yellow tangs tail today. Is this what I think it is?

No other fish have it, and that is the only spot it is on

Pics has good lighting but very fuzzy. Preliminarily it may be either lymphocystis which is viral and requires good water quality and diet to prevent it or Fin-ray damage but need clearer pic

Yeah, very hard to get a good picture of them. Here is a video. There is also a little brownish rectangle around both the dots that extends to the back of the fin

Looks like a fin ray issue and one to keep an eye on but dont see a cause for immediate concern or developing issue

I agree - these are likely just broken fin rays. Too large to be ich. This is a tank raised fish, so it can't be a digenean worm, those are only seen on wild caught fish.

Looks like it is feeding REALLY well - that's good. Make sure it gets enough high protein food.

It is breathing a bit fast, that may just be due to its activity level and small size. What is your tank's water temperature?
