White dots....snail eggs? sponge? Something else?

Wondering what the white dots are. I thought they might be snail eggs, as they kind of look like the ones I get on my back glass. But these don't go away.

Not snail eggs. I can't tell you what they are as I stopped trying to Id everything in my tanks years ago but I do have these as well and they are harmless
