Can anyone tell me what’s going on with his eye? It looks punctured. His other eye looks fine. All other fish have no issues- healthy and eating otherwise. He’s about 6 years old- not sure if it’s age related

Can I do anything to help the healing without taking him out of the tank? I don’t have a spare tank to set up for treatment.

I’m trying to take better photos- he hides when I get close to the tank and favors the good eye to . I included a pic of his good side

Did this show up suddenly? If so, it’s probably an injury with some possible secondary bacterial infection.
Not really treatable in a DT, but many eye injuries heal on their own given a few weeks time. In a treatment tank, erythromycin can hasten healing.
