White Film on Glass

My Nano Max just got over the "ugly stage" and now I noticed white powder/film on my glass. I was reading that it's calcium carbonate buildup and it's caused when I don't have enough Magnesium? I am getting my Magnesium test from Amazon tomorrow, so I can't wait to test the levels. My Calcium is 340ppm (Low?) and Alkalinity shows around 11-12dKH (High?) - I'm getting better Alkalinity test tomorrow as well.

Is the Magnesium going to fix my issues with fine film on my glass?

Maybe.

Thats pretty high alk for a new tank if the the test is correct.

Got my better tests for Alk and Mag. My Alk is 9dKH and Mag is very low: 1110ppm. My calcium is 320ppm.

The white film usually comes just before hair algae for me. Probably just early stage algae.
