I have a nice green stylo frag that seems to have a white film or fluff on its main body. It seems to sluffing it off, but it keeps coming back. It's in a decent amount of light and flow and the polyps are still extending. Anyone have an idea of what's going on. Sorry no pics available...

Should I consider a dip of some sort?

Almost no clue.
If the Ph is good and stable. The only time I've seen that is chemical after attack, but those were direct contact. New coral in the tank?
personally I usually wait long time before a dip. In fact I prefer to just swish em around and watch em. Same if I have to pull them out and transfer them. And I've half killed a LOT of coral.

It's about a month old. Parameters are stable and not close to any aggressive frags... it's under an old Chinese black box led. I have a few frags doing great. A few that are browning/dulling, but this one has me completely puzzled. It reminds me of a leather shedding a little.

It's white like a cotton ball no clue really.

Yea depending on your eye, at a point Id pop it and swish it if you can, yes, it may dissolve, but was going to any way. But the snot may not be good. Kinda surprised flow isnt knocking it off. in fact that may be the prob. Low flow?

do you know your par or lux. o_OIn a pinch Ill take the % the ratio and the hanging height. But you'll owe me $16 to buy yourself a lux meter:cool:.
