White flakes new aquarium

A two day old tank. White flakes everywhere. Ideas? Also some string looking fragments. Nothing has been added yet other than sand, salt and dry rock.

Welcome to R2R! I wouldn't worry so much about it. Things get stirred up all the time when changing water around

Take a turkey baster and gently blow it loose to prevent any chance of calcification. Your filters if working properly will entrap it.
