It's the top and no it doesn't have a shell or anythingIs that the top or bottom of the critter? If it's the underside, can you get a pic of the top?
Is it completely soft or does it seem to have a shell?
My best guess so far is a polyclad flatworm, but that's just a guess...Do those little brown dark spots stick up? Could be a nudibranch rather than a flatworm. Neat pattern around the rim.
