white fluff in sump??

Tank is about 6 months old. Anyone know what these white fluff things are in the sump? They are everywhere! Wasn't sure if they are deposits that are building up but they aren't hard. Maybe a kind of sponge? thanks!

Maybe the start of pineapple sponges, mine looked similar when they first started growing all over my sump

Yep pineapple sponges. Harmless filter feeders. Will diminish as your tank matures.
