My skimmer is producing very white foam, I thought it was supposed to be a darker color? Does this mean their isn't much doc (proteins) in the water to pull from? 29 gallon fowlr, 2 clowns, fire fish, chromis. 0 nitrates

Thats normal, look at all the dark matter around the foam. Its got nasties in it all right. Sometimes less, sometimes more, depending on the water quality.

Your foam should always be white, the key is to adjust your skimmer so you are just getting foam in to the cup, but not so much that it is really thin and clear, and overflowing the cup. The crud is suspended in the walls of the bubbles and when they pop inside the collection cup they are deposited.
