White foam on sandbed.

Hi I have noticed this white foam on the sandbed of my tank does anyone know what it is.

Hmm.. Looks like some sort of bacterial or other issue. To be on the safe side dose the tank with Prime and use a gravel vac and carefully clean the sand bed in that area to pull up what ever may be causing it.
 
Only time i have seen white foam is when something has been decaying for a long period of time.

I haven’t really had any fish in this tank other than 2 damsels which I got rid of lately and switched with a scooter Blenheim nothing really died except if snail or hermit crab died maybe nassarius underneath sand.

What do you mean prime the water conditioner.
 
Treat the tank with Prime from SeaChem. This is to combat any potential ammonia or nitrite spike that may happen when disturbing what ever is causing that issue on your sand bed especially if it is a snail.
