White fragile string/tube?

A bunch of these appearing on top rock near anacropora frag. Broke up a few and they seem pretty fragile and calcified. Any thoughts?

Vermetid snails. Google them. They can be a problem, but not always.

To me look like feather duster tubes since they break easy

I know vermatids-had to break down a tank before as i had 1000s. These are not them. Too fragile

Also it seems like they are just laying there and not firmly attached. Almost like long white detritus.

Here’s a better shot. They are flexible and can be blown off the rock easily. Attached but sway in the flow.
