Hey everyone, Im new to the saltwater game. I have a 29g tank set up with 2 powers heads, 30lbs of live rock, carib sea live sand and an AC50. This strange stuff has grown all over my rocks. It comes off easily with a toothbrush. The video attached is before scrubbing. The tanks been cycling for about 3 weeks and I added 2 clownfish to help it go and I use Seachem Stability to quicken the pace of cycling. I know the green is just green hair algae but what is all that other stuff? Its on my powerheads as well. Any incite would be excellent!!

The white is probably a bacteria of some sort. It will die off in time, replaced by something else, maybe the hair algae. Then something else, and again after that.

Remove what you can, but don't stress about it or get discouraged by it. All the various bits of life each take hold and eventually find a balance with your help (and a few crabs and snails) and will look great!
