White furry hairy stuff

I’ve noticed this stuff growing on the acrylic and some frag plugs. The glass doesn’t have it. It looks furry, attached and moves with the flow, clearing white in color. Any idea what this stuff is?

Do you have any trochus snails in there? Might want to throw a few in if not.

I don't have experience with chrysophytes but I know there's threads on how to battle it.

Ok, maybe I should be a bit more blunt. I dealt with that crap for over a year. Trochus snails took care of it in short order and have kept it from ever returning (I'm talking 3 in a 43g system)
