Please help... I have been searching for awhile now and while I can find similar threads, no resolution and still not sure if same thing. Started small so been trying to manage keeping phosphate down, now spreading... Mainly top rock closest to light. Only way I can describe is white fuzz... In high flow area and does not scrub off with toothbrush.... Please someone help before it’s too late (if not too late)

Now, I don't claim that this is the correct answer, but it's something I found which matches what you posted: It's a fungus. I did a search for live rock fungus, and it produced a number of pictures and threads with what your rocks look like.

That's about as much as I can offer. Good luck!

Thank you. All I can find indicates fungus also, but can find no solution... I can’t imagine this is going to go away by itself. thinking about taking top rock off and apply a bit of peroxide yet that really won’t be option for other areas.
