Hello all,

Over the past week I've seen an outbreak of white fuzz on some of my rocks.

The photo below doesn't do it justice, but observed up close the white fuzz sways in the water flow.

My parameters from an api kit are as follows:
Calcium 460
Phosphates 0.5
Kh 215.8
Nitrate 5
PH 8.2

My main concern is that my GSP and one zoa closed up and haven't reopened, I wonder if this is likely to be the cause?

If anybody has an idea of what it might be I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

If the kh is rightly measured that puts you at about 14.5 alk...im wondering if your seeing precipitation from that...and most likely why the gsp and zoas are angry...

Thanks for the suggestion, I dont yet have a test kit for alk, I'll push that to the front of the priority list! Thanks

@Drennon did adjusting your alk work for you? I have this problem and I'm trying to figure out what it is.
