White fuzz. What is this?

Anyone know what this is? Appears white in color, fuzzy,closely cropped. It’s difficult to get a good picture under LEDs. It isn’t the coralline, is not GHA as I have that elsewhere in the tank. It is not like anything I’ve seen before. It is starting to grow across my tank and is difficult to remove without really scrubbing away at.

it is on the top of the return nozzles and on top of a gyre in the pictures. Appears to like light and is on the surface of some rocks in the tank, starting higher up.

Following along. Ive seen some similar stuff on my gyre aswell
 
Hey did you ever get rid of it? Ive had this on the underside of my rocks for almost a year and cant find a way to beat it....everythings doing fine just would like to get it out for good.
 
No, still in the tank. Any one have any ideas?
