White fuzzy stringy Algae ID

Every tank is different and there are lot of people here who keep a successful reef tank at various ranges. I personally like to keep PO4 around 0.05 ppm and no lower than that.
I am not sure what kind of corals do you have and planning to keep but that is a relative factor. e.g. soft corals thrive in higher levels of phosphate.
As far as PO4 additive, any reputable brand will work. Brightwell, ATI, Triton are all good and offer a proper instruction how to dose it in saltwater tanks. But I am sure there are a lot of people on R2R who can recommend other ones.
If you are relatively new to reefing, try to keep the NO3 and PO4 not too low.

I am not new per se. I had an SPS dominant tank previously, which was run as an ULNS because that was the cool thing to do at that time. I used vodka dosing and aminos. I took a few years off and I am back at it. I will be running a SPS Dominant system again. I just don’t have experience with today’s dosing nitrate and phosphate strategies. So I’m new in that respect.

Ok that is great you have the experience in that regard. Having some NO3/PO4 is a much better environment for the general bacteria and fauna in your tank and even SPS corals can benefit from it.
IMO, Carbon dosing to the point that NO3/PO4 are near zero can over populate the nutrient reducing bacteria and eventually a reduction in population of general bacteria and fauna due to scarcity of NO3/PO4 and cause an imbalance.
Similar conditions happen to the best environment for Dino to thrive which a lot of reefers are experiencing specially within the last few years. Phosphate and Nitrate dosing is a simple way of keep the nutrient levels in balance.
Please keep us posted about the white fuzzy stuff. I like to know what your experience is with them.
