White Growth on Assessor

Does this white raised area look like a mechanical injury?

@Jay Hemdal

Could be, but the diffuse way it is spread seems to indicate some secondary infectious component.

What is the history of the fish? Long term captive or newly acquired?
Tankmates? Assessors, being cave dwellers are really unlikely to injure themselves on rocks.

Fish is roughly 4 years old. There is another assessor in the tank and they do tend squabble every now and then. Other than that their is a kole tang, scribbled rabbitfish, and a Leopard Wrasse. Fish is still eating and acting normal.
