Hello,

I have had this Mccosker Flash Wrasse for about one month (quarantined for two weeks with metro/prazi). For the last ~4-5 days he has had this white growth on his dorsal fin which I have not seen before. He has always been confident, curious, and eats like a pig (eating frozen mysis, frozen calanus, nyos pellet food, fish amino acids). He doesn't act sick so I'm trying to ignore the blemish, but its all I can see lol. Does anyone have any idea of what this might be?

IM 30Long
Tank Age - ~4 months
Tankmates - 2 oscellaris clowns, 1 scarlet cleaner shrimp, 1 sexy shrimp

Parameters:
pH - 8.1-8.3
dKh - 9.3
Calc - 420
Nitrate - 0 (trying to raise)
Temp - 77.2-78.2

That looks like a broken fin ray to me. As long as it doesn’t become infected and spread to the other fin rays it will heal in a couple of weeks.
