White hair like fuzz overnight

Overnight my live rock got this white fuzzy almost hairline growth. All my levels were perfect as tank is new and had cycled with the liverick. I added the live reef sand yesterday and did a 25% water change. Only 1 rabbitfish in 38 gallon as I'm trying to get the tank fully setup with EVERYTHING before adding fish or corals. Thanks for any input.

My guess would be dust from the new live sand. Blow off the rock with a turkey baster

I second this. It’s sediment from the new sand & should easily be blown off with some strong water flow in the display or manually with a turkey baster.
