OK y'all I have a Mandarin dragonet. First off I will go on by saying what I feed. He's got a good supply of tiger and tisbe copepods floating around the system you can look anywhere on the glass and see dozens in a small area. On top of copepod grazing all day he usually eats the frozen shrimp when they eventually float around them. I've had him for about a month and have been doing this same thing on top of usually buying 500-1000 copepods whenever I go up to my lfs. Today I noticed this white bulge coming out of the bottom right side close to the beginning of the dorsal fin it doesn't look like fin rot and my params have been normal from my test results atleast I caught him in the net and looked at it a little closer along with rubbing my finger over and it doesn't seem like anything just stuck like sand

I'm sorry. I dont see the bump. Can you possibly put an arrow pointing to the spot your talking about? He does look a little thin, but it sounds like your working on fattening him up.

Watch this fish close. Does he tend to let his tail droop and drag or is he able to keep his body straight while foraging? It is unfortunate but mandarins are stl spear collected by some companies. You might be seeing damage done by this.
