White micro bugs on glass and in tank

Recently added coral to my tank and over night I have noticed some white micro bugs on the glass. I dontknow what they are or what I need to do to get rid of them.

They move about. They're quite quick and almost look as though they have tails of some sort. Then some of them just stay in the same spot

hard to tell, copepods are very small and also beneficial to a reef tank, search up a pic and see if they look similar to you

Oh no!!! You have water fleas!!! Fortunately these are probably just copepods. Add fish and they’ll be food for them. Some fish rely on these for food. Corals also enjoy them. Pods of all sorts are generally beneficial to your tank. Very few that we commonly see are parasitic and these are most likely just common copepods. Congrats.

I'm really worried about them. I spoke with a LFS and they think they're an issue and I need to suck them out with a syphon. Although they didn't look at a photo they recon because they must of come into my tank on my frag then they could be coral eating parasites.

So they don’t know what they are but they’re telling you they have to be removed?

They look like copepods to me too, but I can’t really tell from the photo. If they are ‘pods’ then they’re good.

I suppose that's possible, but the fact that you have so many on the glass tends to indicate they are eating the film algae. I vote pods.

Copepods. They are helpful, they clean up after fish and act as a food source.
Sounds like the lfs wants you to buy pods from them rather than get free hitchhikers...

Iv tried to take a video but it's hard to see as they're soo small but there's so many. I'm praying thier pods

Definitely copepods or another "pod" (isopod, amphiod) they are harmless. But from the little tail most likely copepod. Your fish store is pulling your leg.
