White Mushrooms

Just got 2 mushrooms for free from LFS. They said their suppose to be red, someone told me to shade them from the light, I did that and they closed up. they look great and happy in the light.
I think they look cool white but I want them to be healthy! Any suggestions?

Continue under heavy blue, low white lights. Moderate flow and add amino and iodine. Should look better in a few days

those bleached out under some kind of stress and thats why they look like that. Agree with keeping them in moderate light and trying a meaty food if they'll take it.

sorry, zooxanthellae; which are dinoflagellates living inside many corals
