White or Black sand?

Hey guys,
What should I go with for my new tank? Never had black, any experience with it? Any thing different from white and black?

A lot of it's personal preference - either can look good if they're not covered in cyano or diatoms . . . In freshwater, I'd say dark for sure, as pale sand means pale fish. Haven't seen that on the salty side.

One point I've heard made for white is that reflected light can be helpful to the undersides of corals.
