White patches on royal gramma

Hey everyone - hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Can anyone give me an idea of what the white patches might be on our royal gramma and how to treat it? I will upload photos, not sure how well you can see them. Don’t have a filter, appreciate any advice on those also!

Very difficult to see the white patches.
A very simple first step would be to do a freshwater dip on the fish to check for flukes.

I’ll give that a try, Our tank is 15 months old and Arthur was our first fish. Thanks for the advice.

You could be looking at ich. Commonly white patches and needing to rub on rock and substrate. You can put in QT and start a copper treatment.

Thank you - narrowed it down to possibly a bacterial infection or maybe his new tank mate is to blame, caught the little clownfish nipping at his back last night.

Do you use a UV sterilizer?

Clownfish can be downright mean. An R2R member posted about how his clown jumped up and bit him on the eyeball when he was leaning over the tank doing maintenance. Yikes.
