White ribbon like??

Wonder if someone knows what it could be, it was a small worm like that spun like a ribbon until it reached tank glass. Unfortunately I couldn’t get a good picture of it after I got it out of the tank. I have three new corals that are in a QT that it was in. I’m pretty new at reefing so don’t know what’s what yet.
