White Ring? What do you think is going on?

see the white ring forming on the outer edge of the Zoanthid disc? What do you think has caused this? I do not recall seeing this before on these OPE

Those look like true RPE and not OPE, but I would assume that the white ring is based upon the amount of light they are receiving. This is a common condition for PE type frags. They look happy where they are and I would not move them if I were you.

In fact if you happen to get frag of those paly let me know I recently lost mine.

I know that is not a good picture, but they are really orange in color. So I guess I am unsure of what a true RPE is and a OPE.

One thing that is hard to see is the strips of brown that come from the center and go out. Those white dots at the edge of the oral disc even highlight were each strip is.

Are you using T5 lights on your tank? Once it regains its full color it will probably look like this:

Its a 33 long, so its only 13 inches tall. The light unit has 2-150 watt HQI in it and hangs about 9 inches from the top of the water. Those Zoanthids are about 12 inches from the light.
