This is a side note to another discussion about rocks.
Been to an LFS in Atlanta.
The sand was white of course.
But so was the rock. Sparkling white. Like it was brand new.
My rock doesn't have tufts of algae on it other than the gray-green surface. We have a good CuC.
Most of our rock is covered in coralline algae.
But the areas of bare rock are definitely not sparkling white.
What's the secret?
Thanks!
