You don't need to dose anything unless something is drastically high or low, and, in a new tank, high or low parameters are best fixed by water changes. Don't overcomplicate things.

I’m not saying you should stop. What I’m saying is there will be times that you have to increase the dose, decrease the dose, or stop dosing. It’s something that you need to taylor to whatever state your tank is in as time progresses. You adjust your method based on the symptoms of the tank and the results of your tests.
