Type of sponge. They're ok. Nutrients might be a little high if you have them. Do you check?

Dont check often. Lfs said 2.5 nitrates and 0 phos. It looks like its choking out the polyps

That can happen. I wouldn't believe them. When my nutrients were intentionally very high I had some. They literally fell
To their death once I brought them back down. Get the Red Sea nitrate kit and Hanna phosphate checker.
