Trying to ID these white, sesame seed sized things in the tank. Don’t move at all, seem to be filled with a brown liquid. Suspect either some type of egg or algae. Thanks.

Do they look like these? HaHa, I have hundreds they keep popping up. Over the last several months I purchased 300+ snails from reefcleaners.com. Most come out at night and cover my glass, when the lights ramp up they disappear into the sand bed or rocks.

Kinda hard to see but I think so. Got mine from reefcleaners as well. Mine don't move though which makes sense if they are eggs. They are visible both with lights on and off since they don't move. Presume they will hatch at some point.

I believe they were referring to the snails moving and hiding during the day.

Well they will hatch and if the fish don't eat them will multiply. Every month the number of eggs grow.

No fish in the tank yet so guess I will be a proud poppa. :) Have some extra small shells in the tank which they can also use as their new homes.

No extra shells necessary. Snails make their own. It's hermit crabs that need extra shells.
