White slime growing on rock

I noticed this white slime looking stuff growing in a rock crevice and thought it may have been a mushroom or something growing but did a water change and scrubbed it off anyway now it’s been a couple of weeks since I scrubbed it and just did a water change a a couple days ago and I just noticed that it is back anybody know what this is

kinda hard to tell but maybe a sponge of some kind? i have lots of the white variety that grows in more shaded areas
