Hey everyone need some help. I recently got this white slime in my tank it’s been about a week with it I try to get as much out as possible just keeps coming back. I don’t know if it’s the nopox I’m dosing I have a 200gal dosing 25ml a day with nopox would appreciate the help

It’s bacterial flocks probably caused by the Nopox

You can either back of the dose a little, or better, increase the water flow/ripple the water were it’s forming to keep it clear

Should I stop dosing for a couple days to see if it improves?

No, it will just come back when you start dosing again, it’s caused by not enough water movement in certain areas and it just builds up

If you increase the flow/ripples you can go to higher doses if and when needed. When I used it in my S650 I was up to about 4 x maximum dose and I just had a reactor hose pointing slightly up in the sump making the water surface ripple and it kept it clear

I've found that if you're dosing bacterial additives i.e. Dr Tims, Micrbacter7, etc and are also dosing organic carbon such as NoPox you can end up with bacterial strings as you're seeing, that will also clog your mechanical filtration.

Cleaning as much as you can out by syphon, and then increasing circulation will cut it back.

If you're also dosing bacterial products reduce them and the NoPox dose and it will clear up.
