I had a tank resealed by a LFS, I'm cycling the tank and am noticing the tank has white slimy film covering the silicone. I'd assume they used the right type of silicone. It's only on the silicone. As a note the tank dried a month before water was put in it. The silicone that was used was said to be aquarium safe and what they have used for 15 years, as they used to build custom tanks.
