White snails in my tank

Hey everyone, I have multiple all white snails that have been in my tank for quite some time now they randomly appeared in my tank and began to multiply and I realized today that the snails are releasing a white substance that almost looks like powder. Are these snails safe for my coral and my fish? I have no idea what type of snail it can be. Please let me know. Below is a picture of the snails.
