White snot on glass...snail eggs?

So this just happened, i didnt catch it in process but im assuming a cerith laid eggs maybe as he is cruising right by this stuff?

So I should leave them alone to hatch rather than clean them off?
How long does it take them to hatch?
They could be infertile, if so than they can decay in the tank. If not they'll usually hatch jn a few days but no gaurnetes that any of the snails survive to adulthood. Also fish may (probably will) find them to be quite tasty

I gave them a couple of days, I saw nothing changed, so I cleaned the glass.
