White specks moving around on chalice coral?

I've had this chalice frag about 2 weeks. The last couple of days I noticed these tiny white specks moving around slowly on the surface. Are they some kind of snail? Do I need to get rid of them or are they harmless? Thanks for taking a look!

Sorry, I've only started two threads. I don't know how this ended up in nutrition. I thought I had selected the hitchhikers forum.

my first thought is tiny baby snails that just hatched within a week ago.
