Hi guys and gals woke up this morning and found my bta with white spots all over it. This evening when I got home from work and the lights where on there seem to be less but then I saw they where in the creases of the tentacles, this is the best picture I can get any ideas?

Don’t worry about it. Entacmaea quadricolor species tend to have those speckles. It looks abit pale. Hopefully it’s just the lighting/photo. Remember to feed it. Cheers! :)

do they move? This morning they were on the bubble tips tonight they mostly are in between the tentacles. they look stuck on it not part of it, if that makes sense. Like coral sand almost

Try blowing them off. It's prob just sand.

If you are 100% positive they are moving, try picking one off with a tweezers or something to get a closer look.

Need a betterpic of one. Could be flatworms,pods...

If by chance they are flatworm pods will they hurt it and how do I get rid of them? I have a sixline wrasse don’t they eat flatworms?

I doubt they are flat worms (especially if they are white). BTA's speckle frequently according to the lighting. Some will call them "FROSTED" and actually charge more.

Might not venture in the nem...they sting.
You could try manual removal with a gentle siphon, flatworm exit. Or find an anemone safe dip...

I have several speckled btas...these are protruding from the flesh not speckles on the flesh.

Idk if i can revive this thread. I'm wondering if I got a rare or sick BTA? Any help much appreciated
