What are these? They are not like spots but more like specks. Not moving. Only at the bottom area close to the sand.

Thanks but are you sure it's coralline? Because my tank only has dino/cyano now. It's only 2 months old.

Yea i have green coraline algae and it started bout 2 months in. Around the same time as cyano.. 3-4 months later my entire 6 foot back psnels of glass is covered in it

You cab always check.. rub ut with you fingers.. if it doesnt come off.. then rub it with a credit card if it crunches its coraline.

Or just leave it alone and see what it grows into . But my bet is coraline

Yep. 2nd n you Coralline

@Sailfinguy21 @AdamB so thats a good sign isn't it? I hope they will outcompete the cyano :D

If you have dinos then whatever you do dont be ina rush ti kill your cyano.. because if that stuff dissapears the dinos will most likely take over.

For this very reason i dont bother removing my hair algae in my tank.. except if it gets too close to my corals. Then ill clean it up a bit but other then thst i leave my hair algae and cyano thats in a spot on my sand bed alone... Ive killed cyano with chemi clean once and eliminated my hakr algae and dinos took over

Yes I heard about that too. Better leave them alone than trying to kill them. But one thing for sure they make my sand bed look too ugly -_-
