White specs and barnacles added

Added a couple barnacles my brother found at the beach on the sand, they all looked dried out and came back to life in my aquarium, read they where good filter feeders, have them in that container since my peppermint shrimp opened and ate my last ones, also I'm not sure what's causing my all this tiny white specs, its a mixture of tiny bubbles and like tiny little flea looking like bugs

Could have been anything since they were found at the beach. Does your tank water match the temp of where they came from?

Oh I had the specs like 2 weeks before I added the barnacles, these come from super cold water, but the little bugs and stuff have been going on for a while, justbadded them hoping it would help get rid of them

Is that what's making my water look the way that it does? Read that algae makes little tiny bubbles too and contributes to the way that it looks now

A cold climate barnacle wont last long at tropical temps itll speed up its metabolism and itll die pretty quickly. Thatll nuke your tank so just a warning.

No prob I tried the same thing myself and did it ever make a smelly mess when they expired! Most cold climate fauna dont do well in reef tanks although a few species of cold water macro do really well... To well...
