White specs/particles floating in water?

I have a 40g cube setup with a o. Clown pair and a fire fish. I’ve been running my tank with a UV light, a protein skimmer, and a fluval g3 canister but I still have a bunch of particles floating around. I didn’t use an RO/DI system for the water if that’s the cause but what can I do to clear out all the particles?

I basically always have stuff flying around in the water column. The only time it's almost crystal clear is when I put my 100 micron filter sock on ( I normally run 200 micron socks).
FWIW, when I go scuba diving on reefs in the ocean, there is a TON of stuff floating in the water. I consider it coral food.
