White spikes on Zoas?

Can anyone help me ID these white growths? They weren’t there yesterday when I cleaned the tank and now they are taking over the bottom portion of this zoa. They are long, straight and white. They look like spines. I haven’t been able to ID them through the common hitchhiker post or online.

Looks like clatharina sponge which if not removed will overtake the zoas. Best tool to accomplish this is dental pick type posted below and best done in a small container with tank water. Pull strands off carefully
