Did this occur before or after you received the fish and placed in QT?

Has any other fish been in the same tank with the naso?

Could be from involvement with another fish, or could be markings where flukes were attached.

Have you started, or intend to start copper treatment?

Any other behavior you've noticed, flashing?

I didn’t see nothing in store, Went straight from store to QT been in copper for 3 days eating , acting ,swimming just fine, doesn’t look like flukes but I did treat with Prazipro today anyway

Maybe I was told could be stress …
Stress spots on a Naso are different. They are evenly spaced uniform white patches. They will exhibit when stressed or sometimes at night if startled from my experience. They are also in Lines…

If you want me to get scientific on Naso I can and will.
Uhhhhhh, I’m just trying to make sure the tang is Good. My Naso doesn’t do that when Stressed. Not sure about Yours….and I wouldn’t jump the gun, but I would be looking for a Cause.

Stress spots are common in naso tangs, but these look more linear and I think I can see some spots on the fins, so it isn’t stress spots….
Flukes can cause this though.

I know- it is frustrating not knowing why they have an issue. What other symptoms is it exhibiting if any?
Would only eat seaweed , it’s active no other symptoms, fox face also in QT
