White Spot Growing on Clownfish

This white spot is mirrored on both sides of my clown’s tail fin, he has been eating fine and has been acting normal, any idea of what it could be?

How has this progressed?

Having it mirror the other side of the tail doesn't sound like a disease type situation, though.

Believe it or not, that might be a sign of healing; I see that from time to time on fish that have been nipped or scratched themselves. It’s almost like a scab.

So the spot goes away and then comes back I have no idea what it could be, but he is acting completely normal so who knows
