Today during feeding time I noticed a white spot on the cheek of my bicolor blenny. I didn't remember noticing it yesterday and I happen to have taken a picture that confirmed my thoughts. Does anyone have an idea of what it may be? He is eating and acting normal but if it's something I need to be concerned about I would like to get treatment started before it gets worse. Terrible iPhone pictures are below. Thanks in advance.

Pictures very blue to tell but try to startle fish to see if it falls off as it may be a speck of sand.
If it’s still there afterwards, if you’re able to catch the fish, give it a freshwater dip and see if it is gone as it may be a fluke

Thanks for the response. I just looked again and whatever it was is gone. I’ll keep an eye on him and see if anything comes back but it may have been nothing to worry about.

My guess would be sand. They get their face into everything !
