Please help!!! What could this be???? Sudden change in behavior from yesterday to today! Not eating & seems to be hiding out. What would be the best way to treat whatever it is? No recent changes to my tank in the past 8 months

Almost looks like it slammed its face into the wall?

Can you get still white light shots of the fish?

This is a mechanical injury and looks like one which may be in the healing process however the bump is may be beginning of infection. If true, stay ahead by treating the fish in a separate tank using seachem Kanaplex or neoplex

Thank you very much! Just got him in another tank. Do you think a fresh water dip would help with infection as well? Unfortunately will have to overnight order a medicine

A freshwater dip wont do much and is a temporary measure for heavy mucus and even flukes, to offer temporary relief

Unfortunately that was the best I could get. From some angels it does appear that white spot is below regular color tissue, so i thought it may be in injury. I’m just nervous as to why he wouldn’t be eating the same.

Still appears as injury and other causes may be squabbling with other clown, Glass surfing (going up and down glass chasing its reflection) and even cleaning an are of tank which they sometimes do.

Thank you I will keep her separate and continue to monitor
