Anyone know what this is? Appeared overnight. Di she scratch herself on the rocks? She seems fine and is begging for food (thankfully which is why i could get a picture.)

You are probably right about the rock scrape. But the white area is disturbing. A bath in an acriflavine product like Ruby Reef Rally which is has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualities. The next step up would be an antibiotic. For head areas I like Triple Sulfa or Sulfaplex.

She won't be easy to catch (if even possible) so i am waiting to feed in case anyone knows..

If you wait until a couple of hours after the lights are out and the room is dark. Use a small flashlight and shine it on the fish's face. The light will mesmerize the fish, making it easier to net.

After going though my stash, i only have general cure, metro, rapid cure, pimafix and focus on hand.

Sorry, none of those are antibiotics. The closest is the Pimafix which contains some Malachite Green which works good for treating injuries, cuts.

Unfortunately she is one of the few who doesn't sleep in the same spot (or i can't find her) my best bet (i think would be at the start of feeding, but no guarantees) plus i don't think anything i have would be beneficial so i would have to wait for tomorrow for amazon of LFS... is there anything i could treat the whole tank with if i can't catch it? like is said she is acting normally I just have never seen her scrape herself (although I have kole tang who does it all the time and i have never had to treat it..)
Plus, she hides somewhere in all this...

Sorry, tried to make the photo smaller but ended up reposting it a couple time...cant figure out how to delete.

You can keep an eye on it but usually by the time you realize it’s going south it may be to late to bring it back. You will need to QT to run antibiotics.

Ok, Thanks so much to frtdrmrose7 and Big G for your help, I will order meds, set up the qt with fresh saltwater and a rock from the display tonight and see how she is in the morning...Fingers crossed i can catch her...

Ruby Reef Rally claims to be reef safe. But of course, as always, your mileage may vary.

http://rubyreef.net/rally/

I actually only have one little rescue zoa in my tank; it is essentially a FOWLR, I had started a (potential reef tank with 1 zoa and a gsp but had a thermometer malfunction that the gsp (and my brittle star :() never recovered from... the zoa on the other hand seems to be happy in the main tank where its at now...lol

Any real antibiotic treatment won't work out so well in a tank with live rock... But I'm not 100% convinced it needs treated yet. I'd order the antibiotic anyway... good to have on hand. Keep a close eye for any changes in the appearance of the spot or fish's behavior, especially rapid breathing, lethargy, loss of appetite or scratching on rocks.
