white spot on green/blue chormis

Recently added three new green blue chormis to my tank. I have noticed a small white spot on its side. It doesn’t look cotton like; so I am not sure if it’s some type of disease or just got scrap up a bit. White spot is about half way back from head and near the upper top of the fish - along lateral line. Second picture is under blue lighting.

This is likely Uronema. Formalin or chloroquine in a QT is one treatment. The reality is though, it is very difficult to treat successfully. My only hesitation in the diagnosis is the lesion isn’t quite as red as I would expect it to be.

It has gotten so bad that when I see a post “I have a green chromis....” the answer is almost always “Uronema” (sigh).

Agree with uronema which shouldnt be but commonl;y affects chromis. Start with fresheater dip and follow Jay's recommendation.
What are your parameters , maninly. . . Salinity, water temp, ammonia and nitrate levels.?
